delicious breakfast, incredibly gracious personnel. the room was well laid out with good sized bed. absolutely fabulous location, 15 minutes' walk to many stone steps. the beach nearby was wonderful and the view was absolutely stunning.

We stayed here for 4 nights, it was just what we needed. The gourmet restaurant was fabulous and their staff was knowledgeable. Comfortable central location, at a short distance from whitby harbour;))

I spent a perfect time here, would recomand to anyone. Liked the atmosphere of this vintage hotel, comfy location and big size rooms. Healthy breakfast with plenty of coffee and eggs. Good beds, air conditioning, iron and ironing board, and terrace were a nice touch. The staff was BEST and check in was fast.
